Cnc lathe setter — Plymouth County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed 6+ years on the tools preferred.
