Stainless steel welder — Clay County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Clay County, Tennessee. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Full-time, day shift.
