Lift maintenance fitter — Slough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Slough, England. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
