Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust.
