Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Lee County, Iowa. You will work at a busy distribution depot. You will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
