Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Webster County, Iowa. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On the job you will handle: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Overtime paid at a premium rate.
