Tube and fitting scaffolder — Pitt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Pitt County, North Carolina. The job is at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Part-time with flexible hours.
