Slinger signaller — Southeast Fairbanks Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
