Restoration bricklayer wanted in San Saba County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in San Saba County, Texas. On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
