Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Owen County, Indiana. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day-to-day duties: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
