Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Sussex County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Full-time, day shift.
