Concrete finisher — Ona Ara

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Ona Ara, Oyo State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦9,000 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
