Great opportunity: uPVC welding machine operator (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Jefferson County, Alabama. The job is on a window-and-door production line. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres You will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
