The role involves patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming.
