Garment machinist wanted in Kern County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Kern County, California. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
