Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Putnam County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Six days a week, one day off.
