Join our team: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in McCreary County, Kentucky. You will be based in shopping malls and office buildings. Requirements: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules Day to day you will braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter.
