Counter butcher wanted in Foster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Foster County, North Dakota. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Day to day you will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; season and marinate meat on request. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
