Join our team: reinforcement fitter (Pennsylvania)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Centre County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
