Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
