Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in LaPorte County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer The role involves: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule 2+ years on the tools preferred.
