Join our team: aluminium TIG welder (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Jackson County, Texas. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Part-time with flexible hours.
