Floor and wall tile fitter — Avoyelles Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. The role involves screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
