Reinforcement steel fixer • Grant County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Grant County, Kentucky. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
