Immediate opening: MIG/MAG welder (New Hampshire)

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Strafford County, New Hampshire. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
