Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
