Fabrication workshop technician • Clarke County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Clarke County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. You should have: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
