Join our team: CO2 welder (Washington)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Jefferson County, Washington. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
