Concrete labourer • Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,550 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
