Lift maintenance fitter — Waseca County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Waseca County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy lift company. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
