Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On a typical shift you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw.
