Tube and fitting scaffolder • Lee County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Lee County, North Carolina. You will be based at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice The role involves: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
