Great opportunity: we are hiring a smash repairer in Allegany County, New York. The job is at a commercial fleet workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair You should have: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
