Fettler wanted in Cascade County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Cascade County, Montana. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
