Conventional mill operator • Jefferson County, Nebraska

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Jefferson County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
