Urgent requirement: single needle operator (South Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
