Fabricator-welder • Coos County, Oregon

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Coos County, Oregon. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
