Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiler in Union County, South Carolina. The job is on a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Day-to-day duties: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls Meals and transport allowance provided.
