Health and safety supervisor — Pope County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Pope County, Illinois. You will work at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry 3+ years on the tools preferred.
