Lift technician • Pike County, Alabama

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Pike County, Alabama. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
