Immediate opening: horticulturist (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will be based in a residential garden complex. On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
