The role involves detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; write up incident reports after any disturbance; log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out.
