MIG welder • Orleans County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Orleans County, New York. You will work at a busy production line. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
