Toolroom milling operator wanted in Humboldt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Humboldt County, California. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
