Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Oyo West, Oyo State. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
