Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a landfill site. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Your main tasks: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
