Immediate opening: gas pipeline fitter (Oklahoma)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Grady County, Oklahoma. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
