Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Jackson County, Kentucky. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Six days a week, one day off.
