Cnc lathe setter — Wilkes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Wilkes County, North Carolina. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
