Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ventura County, California. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Your main tasks: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
